Meet & Greet but no $$

{Via CBC}

PM and premiers end meeting without promise of more money

Stephen Harper met with the Canadian Premiers for Dinner at 24 Sussex. (As an aside, I wonder what they had for dinner?? Bet it was better than any soup kitchen in Canada.)
Anyway, nothing was accomplished at this meeting as was expected. Simply a meet and greet so Stephen could tell them he REALLY cares about the "fiscal imbalance." As we know Harper is canceling the childcare agreements the previous government made with the provinces. Every family with small children will get $1200 under the Harper plan. But since Harper's "brilliant" plan provides for no daycare spaces, what good is the money, if there's no place for the children within the system???

I see Lord was there sucking up to Harper. Wonder how long before Bernard realizes Harper could care less about New Brunswick and the Maritimes?? Don't think Harper does'nt know Lord coveted his job. I'm not hoping for much from Harper's government. But hey, if we look at it in that light we'll all be happy with scraps right????

Harper & Company need to realize that those agreements were made with the Canadian Government not the "Liberals." I say fight em to the mat for the money promised. $1200 is buy off money plain and simple. It's a POS offer. Of course Bernie is more focused on getting some money for the highways, so New Brunswickers forget how he screwed us on the highway toll's deal.
