Garth Has `disturbing' News??

Via The Toronto Star:

So Garth Turner has scheduled a News Conference for tomorrow. I have to admit my interest is piqued at his suggestion of revealing `disturbing' conduct by PMO.

From Garth’s Blog: Of Leaders and Voters"

I hope he’s not going to tell us Stephen Harper "eats babies"……we already knew that……..LOL

Seriously though……….this ought to be interesting……….I admittedly like it when conservatives tear each other apart……..I know, I know, I shouldn’t take pleasure in it……..but damn it’s funny…….lol

The Great White North (Fossils?)

{Via CBC: Canada labelled 'fossil' at climate change talks }

I think I'd laugh if it wasn't so irritating.

Most would agree that Kyoto is a long way from a concrete solution to climate change.but the CPC’s answer to it is a total joke. It seems others would agree.

“Cutting emissions by 45 to 65 per cent from 2003 levels — by the year 2050.”

LMAO yeah right Rona.....it’s a made in Canada ”Cop-out” , not a solution………gimme a break....

Very, very weak.........The Conservatives should have been embarrased to present this as an "alternative" to Kyoto........it's no better........perhaps worse. 2050....bah......

Call Center Faux Pas........

This one has absolutely nothing to do with politics. Mark Goldberg over at Telecom Trends has a post going on about a call center where he spent 45 minutes on hold, listening to Elton John’s “Rocket Man” ("I Think It's Going To Be A Long Long Time")……….Too funny/sad!! Shows you where customer service is these days with the Telecom Call Centers.

Got another faux pas song for call center’s??? Mark would like to hear them……….take a look….....Telecom Trends

Remembrance Day

Tomorrow at 11:00, please take a few moments to stop, reflect, and give thanks to those that fought and died in foreign lands so we could enjoy the freedoms we have in Canada.

This year of course we have a stark reminder of what war really means, as we have men and women in harms way in Afghanistan, and men and women who have recently died there, doing a job they believe in. You may argue the right and wrong of the government decision for the mission, but we must not forget, that these soldiers do the job that our government and therefore, ”we the people” ask of them. Those Canadians currently serving and those that have lost their lives in this conflict, and indeed all of the world conflicts deserve our thanks and gratitude.

As our vets age, and we lose more and more of them, it becomes increasingly more important to pass along the message to future generations.

I for one will never, ever, forget.

Please take a moment to pop over to Brent Taylor's Blog as Brent has written an excellent Remembrance Day article.

Very well said Brent!

101 People Screwing Up Canada

My good bud Spinks is looking for 25 more names for his list of 101 people who are screwing up Canada

If you haven't put in your choices yet, or thought of some more, make sure to get them in soon so he can start the countdown.

I'm looking forward to this list. If it's half as good as the 10 people screwing up NB and the 10 people not screwing up NB this one should be a corker!!

Go to it people!! Send Spinks your list!

The Rebate Program has not been cancelled....yet

{Via CBC: Tories accuse Liberals of flipping on heat rebate}

How can anyone say Shawn Graham has broken his promise to keep the energy rebate?? It hasn't been cancelled.....yet. At this point the most he's guilty of is "considering" breaking his promise. I, like many New Brunswickers heard that promise plain and clear........so yes, if the rebate program gets cancelled......then it will be a broken promise. Currently it is simply under review as I would imagine all of government programs are........

I think the PC's need to relax a bit. Don't worry folks.....you'll get your chance to tackle the Libs......but lets cut the dis-information campaign.....

We're all watching Mr.Graham......Are you a man of your word?
